I took my car here to get the thermostat replaced. O'Reilly already told me the issue but they had to hook it up to their system anyway. When they called with the total, I almost fell over. Thankfully I had done some Google research on an expected price and I politely declined. In order to get my car, I had to pay $178 for the diagnostic (which O'Reilly had already done). I did not confirm this but I believe they make you pay for the diagnostic even if you get your car fixed there. He tried to get me to pay for a $125 oil change even though I am not due and have never taken my car there for an oil change. Finally, he said the thermostat and housing component would be $800 to replace. $800! Well, thanks to my due diligence, I took it elsewhere and paid $321 for it. I told the other shop what my quote was and he said it best when he said, "I can sleep at night knowing I charge a fair price."

We have been using Richman's since Jeff acquired the business. We have always been well served and treated fairly. Recently, my car went into "limp home" mode just before I needed to travel out of town. Richman's worked me in the same day and was able to fix it by the next day.
